New to the forum but long time griller. I brined a few chicken breasts this afternoon expecting to grill them for supper. After about three hours in the brine, I drained and dried the birds and applied my favorite rub so it would have an hour or so before grilling to soak-in.

The wife enters a few minutes later and wants to go out to eat. So the birds go back into the Frig and off we go.

Got to thinking about the brine and the rub contributing salt to the birds and the fact that they won't see the grill for another 24 hours makes me wonder if the over exposure to salt will be too much. As I have never had this situation before, I thought I would consult the experts (you)!

All opines appreciated, especially those on topic.
