How I spent Saturday

My shop is about 100ft behind my house and that's where I smoke. I always wanted water down there where I could wash my hands etc, so I took care of it Sat. I found a 15x15 sink including the faucet and drain kit at Lowe's for $64 and got what I needed to plumb it with pvc to connect with a water hose. I have a hose from the house coming to it and just have it draining outside since it will only be water and soap. Covered one of my work benches with tile (88 cents each) put up some more shelves and I'm good to go.

Very cool!! We do all our processing in the garage and have wanted running water out there from day one. You make it sound so simple - we should have done that years ago.

i do all my smokin in my shop also,i pounded a sand piont last year.only had to go 18' worked out so well i actually plowed in 11 sprinkler heads in my yard and hooked into a timer .now i have to mow instead of smoke.hum somthing wrong with that pic

If ya get motovated, a 5 gal. bucket set into a fair sized hole filled with gravel makes a good field for small amounts of water. fill the bucket with pea rock and punch holes in the bucket. Then maybe once a year, pull the bucket lid and replace the pea. It will trap most of the soap scum and grease, etc. a light duty sink will generate. Keeps bubbles from your yard when it rains too... ;{)
