I multi-task when my smoke is on.  Today I'm prepping some under-deck areas for dry storage of my "stuff" for when a storm hits.  I live in a very tiny place and the only storage I have is open underneath the deck.  Found some metal roofing panels that I will make a dry roof over, then some sides reinforced, finally a metal "cover" to deflect winds from tearing all to shreds.  It's hurricane season and we are already seeing some action off the coast of Africa.

When not doing that, I just have a few beers and enjoy the view!

Good stuff, all!  I love how some use it as time for solace and reflection, while others use it as time to engage loved ones and spend some quality time.  Either way, it forces us to slow down and enjoy life.  I guess "low and slow" is more than just a cooking technique; it's a way of life.

I do work.  I usually do a heavy smoke session when I have some project that requires hours and hours of work.  It is a good way as I need to feed the beast every 45 mins so it allows from the break from work.  I usually do my smokes overnight, so the best part of all is Calirfonia law states that at my pay grade it is all overtime.  Woohoo!!!

I usually do yard work. Mow, weed, rake, trim trees, whatever needs to be done. That's for part of the day anyway. The other half I'll drink beer.
