How big of a turkey have you smoked whole with no issues and how long. I usually try to stay about 12-14 pounds but got a free one and tags missing I think it 18-20 pound.

I'd say bout 16 lbs with no issues... But if your worried bout a bigger one getting done safely, you could always spatchcock it.. That would speed up the cook time !

Damit this is the second maverick temp probe to go bad from moisture. It read 163 hit it with thermopen said 180. Then it read LLL
