Thanks to all Veterans on this forum! I am a proud American and thankful for your service to our Country!

Here is what Big Poppa and I are doing right now.


Going to see the outside temps at 45 degrees are going to do with the smoke times.  Know they will differ some from this Summer. This is 35 pounds of gorgeous Boston Butts.  About 4 hours in now.


While BP is outside doing his thing...I am in the Kitchen making some pumpkin yummies for Pumpkin breads. Going to save some seeds for planting and roast the others.



In about an hour these will be great! Now to get working on Apples for more Apple Butter too.

I finished the butts about midnight last nite.  They did great and no real stall time.  I ended up with 6 pint jars of pumpkin puree and that is 2-3 loaves of pumpkin bread per pint.  I do have pics and will post when I get to the Quilt Shop.

2 of the butts I smoked yesterday were for a couple that come into the Quilt Shop. Anyhoo....they came today to get the pp and didn't realize how much they would actually get. They had already paid for the butts, and gave me some extra $.  Just got a message from Larry...he told me that I am giving Whitt's, Big Bob Gibson's (OMG>>>OMG) and Lawler's a run for their money!  Whoooo-----Hooooo!  I am elated! (was scared they wouldn't like it!)
