My name is Jeff and I'm located in Central Virginia nestled up next to The Blue Ridge Mountains. I've been experimenting and playing around with meat smoking for about two years.My first smoker was a Brinkman vertical gasser. I still got it but recently bought the 40 inch Masterbuilt electric. I have my first attempt at pork belly bacon curing in the fridge as I type this. This website is what gave me the idea to make my own bacon. I really have learned a lot and enjoy reading the posts from other members. Oh yea, and I like fish, the dead kind, like the ones sitting in the bottom of a deep fryer.
