Had the handle for a long time. I did ride a Honda, but after years of living in MS on the coast, traded for a boat. Now shopping for a bike again. probably more of a cruiser or touring bike with the advancing years...Welcome CBR1000R to SMF from Nova Scotia
This is the place for show and tell and also a little fun along the way.
Any questions just ask, someone will be by to help and or point you in the right direction.

ps: does your handle mean you drive a Honda ?

You're a better man than me Dave. I'm going to take the leap back in to the two wheeled world. Like you, I'm looking at a smaller bike now, 500 to 800, just for tooling around on the coast. Living in south Mississippi I have a long fishing and riding season and a morning ride along the coast is just too much to pass up now that I'm retired and have a plethora of time!I understand that as I always had bikes of some kind, Honda was my go to the most.
Sold my last bike for down payment ( part of it ) for first house with my now wife about 35 years ago. And every spring try to tell myself I don't need one . As no time to ride and we have boats as we live on the water also.
But 2 years ago I had my heart set on a DR650 Suzuki ( or the 400 model ) had 2 that I almost got until My darling wife had a talk to me , again about why for and when would I . Well that was quite the discussion for a few too many weeks. LOL
Over it now , but still miss the ride.

I do spend most of my time hunting and managing a 5,000 acre hunting club, keeps me in unlimited pork! Also plenty of deer, quail, rabbit and squirrel, all will be spending time on the smoker, between fishing and riding trips!
I rode for most of my life, but in my current physical condition, I'd need a Harley Tri-glide, or Goldwing trike. Too rich for me to get into lol.Now shopping for a bike again. probably more of a cruiser or touring bike with the advancing years...
