Hello everyone!  My name is Ben and my wife and I are located in Denver.  We are just about finished with our new back yard (new patio, deck, landscaping, vegetable garden etc...) and we are going to purchase a propane smoker this week.

Right now I'm leaning towards a Master Built two door smoker.  I've never smoked anything before, but I'm getting really excited to try it out this weekend.  I'm thinking about doing a pork butt and some ribs.  Wish me luck!

Ben , we welcome you and your Bride to the Family

Hope you decide to call this home for all your BBQ wants and needs. (we have it all here;no use to roam

).

Your choice of Smoker is (IMHO) a well thought out decision. I hope you have great experiences with it and are here to help you do just that...

Please enter your location for all to understand your questions , and you may have neighbors to meet.

Congrats on all the improvements you've made to your Home and good luck in your weekend BBQ. I have a suggestion however... try a Pork Butt first and get the feel of your Smoker. There is a learning curve to Smoking and A Butt is a great cut to use on your Madien voyage.

You may want to insist on getting a Needle Valve on your gas supply so you may do low temp. Smoking and invest in an AMNPS from Todd Johnson (advertized here) for true smoke flavor.

Enough rambling , be sure to include Q-view of your Yard (we have gardeners here too) and of course -all your cooks - and maybe the Pets and Partners.

Have fun and as always . . .
