Hello Char Grill mod question

What size is your dryer vent you use to extend your stack? I have an
Outlaw Charcoal Grill model# 2137
I tried 3" hose, and it's too small 4" is too big. Stuck between a rock and a hard place need help, explanation on how to do this. My original stack has a lip on the inside making it impossible to go over it and 3" is to big to fit in the hole. Any help would....Help! Thank you

When I had a chargriller I ran into the same issue with the lip and a 3 inch hose. I used aluminum tape to connect the two and it worked fine for me
