Been a long time since I wrote an introduction post, so bare with me here.
Anyways, my names Tim, I live just outside Ottawa Ontario.
So far have favoured electric smokers, started in 2014 with an MES 30 that I got on sale summer of 2014. Just two months ago upgraded with a MasterForge Digital 30" (looks like an MES digital 30 a generation ago).
Smoked a number of different things, Ribs (beef and pork), Pork Shoulder, Tenderloin. Steaks, Salmon, chicken, Red Snapper, venison, wild boar and a turkey.
Presently have half a duck and a beef tenderloin sitting in my freezer and just did 5lbs of chicken thighs (5lbs of which was pulled to make sandwhiches).
Presently looking at building an offset stick burner, because I'd like to use charcoal more and I like to build things so it combines two of my favourite hobbies.
