A couple years ago one of my daughters attended a wedding in Greece, spending a week there. It was her first time to travel to Europe. She and her husband took advantage of the trip and also spent a week in Spain. They tasted the ham at a little store and loved it. The vendor sliced some (see-thru thin), vacuum sealed it into several packets, and I got one of the packets. It is definitely a unique taste. My wife didn't care for it. I didn't love it or hate it, but could see how with occasional consumption at special holidays it would become a taste bud favorite.
