My favorite soup, Ground Vegetable Soup. Recipe is passed down from my grandma but not sure where she got it from.

Grill or stovetop cook several lbs of beef. I used stuff we were trying to clear out, cube steaks, sirloins, flank steak all from a side we bought that was tough as hell.

Made beef broth night before in the instant pot with soup bones had in freezer. Scaped fat layer off next day.

Cooked some taters, carrots, onions.

It looks like someone threw up in the pot but tastes fabulous. This made a little more than 12 quarts. I started with half bottle of v8 and added til got the consistency I wanted. Simmer on super low for cpl. hours. Spice to taste. I typically use salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, and red pepper flakes. This freezes for future meals.

Sounds like it would be tasty. Good on you for keeping family recipes alive
