One of the local restaurants advertised that they would sell their prime rib eye steaks...cut to order...curb-side pick up. Like many of us in SMF, we want to support our local restaurants in these wacky times, so we bought 2.

The marbling was beautiful! Seasoned them with SPG this morning. Fired up the old Brinkmann grill using chunks and charcoal. Hickory chips for smoke. They were awesome! Baked potato, big -ole- salad and green beans rounded out the meal.

Here are the pics:

I love this old beast for high heat smokes!

Money shot! Those look perfect. That's a great idea to sell em like that. Can't imagine take out steak would be the best unless u live really close. Nice work Uncle Eddie! :emoji_raised_hands:

Those look beautiful!!! Our local Texas Roadhouse Restaurant down the street offered a curb side deal on their raw rib-eyes, too. Thinking I may need to see if they’re still offering the deal after seeing these!!!

Perfection! Nice marbling too!

Boy howdy that steak is just screaming beef flavor, Like! I got some ribs all set for today but I'm taking a ribeye out of the freezer to thaw, I want steak now. RAY

Very nice eddie. Great view from the smoker as well

Thanks guys!

Almost missed another one . Those are cooked perfect . One of my favorite meals . Nice work for sure .
Yes for sure. It's not even a fishing pond. It is a catching pond.
Had a buddy that bought a house where the old owner raised catfish . Throw out a hand full of dog food , and just a hook with a bobber . Fun for awhile , but a guy needs time to grab a beer !
