Good afternoon everyone. So I currently have a propane smoker which I have a really enjoyed and enjoy the smokey flavor for the meats for several years now. I've been thinking about getting a pellet smoker to make it easier so I'd do it more often and wanted to get some thoughts from you all on going from a gas smoker to a pallet grill and also any thoughts on the Grilla OG. The most o smoke is two butts and two racks of ribs. Occasionally do a turkey.

Thanks.

My current smoker is the Masterbuilt MB20052318 MPS 230S Propane Smoker (or one that looks just like it), FYI

I've been looking at both and liked the ideal of better airflow as it's more similar to a vertical smoker. I've just been worried about the amount of smokey ness flavor mainly.

And thanks for your help.

Please if your still deciding check out the Rec Tec line of smokers....Thay are fantastic and their customer support is unparalled

I've been doing a lot of research and saving up for a pellet grill myself. There's a facebook group for Grilla grills that's very helpful and lots of people post pictures there.

It's easy to see the Grilla and think it looks small, but it's actually got quite a large cooking grate, fitting a turkey is no problem. I've seen people routinely post pictures of ribs in the OG also. With just the bottom shelf I've seen people fit 4. With the extra top shelf I've seen them cram another 3 racks up top.

Careful of the Facebook group. One negative word and they break out the tar and feathers. All I did was say the cover is too stinkin tight and they had fits. They're like fanatics much like the rest of Facebook.
Since then I've deleted my Facebook account altogether in order to avoid contact with the insane and protect my own mental health.

A lot of Facebook groups like to be little echo-chambers. That said, there's a fair amount of knowledge on there for troubleshooting and the pictures show grill size really well.
