Hello everyone. I am a total complete novice to BBQ'ing but thought I would take the plunge finally. I was originally going to buy a cheapo offset smoker but then ran across the UDS. I am in the process of building one and will make a separate post with my build process.

Just wanted to stop here and say hi and thank the folks who run the website and everyone who contributes. I have spent many late nights recently browsing these forums, staring at food porn and smoker rigs.

Thanks for the hello's. I did update my location and other stuff but I guess it takes a while to update. It said it would show the rest once I am active on the forums.

I will definitely check out the Ecourse too, thanks! I made my UDS build post but it takes a bit for moderation. I am looking forward to the suggestions and critiques.
