Great to be Back

After the ice storm that went through Kentucky it is FANTASTIC to be able to view the Q's and read about all of the Smoke. While the tree trimmers were cleaning up the back yard yesterday I dragged out the new gas upright smoker from Lowes and burnt all of the Chinese crap out of it so now maybe if this nice weather holds up we can have some good SM.

Welcome back eagle. My son works for Progress Energy here in the carolinas and he was in Louisville KY working on the power lines. I have been worried about him. He called Sunday morning and said they were on the way home. He should get in late this afternoon. I hope you are getting back to normal and everything works out good for you.

Thanks for everyone's concern. We were without power for 5 days but thank God for the generator on the Eagle Bus. I forgot to mention in the first post while the tree trimmers were doing their thing yesterday I did have a few Miller lites well a few more than a few.

We here in Kentucky want to thank the outer state linemen for their help in getting power restored it will be a few more days before all are restored.
