Wasn't sure where to put this, so thought it'd be fine here. lol

and it's New to ME ha ha -- ever since I watched Gone In Sixty Seconds back when I was a wee little griller, I've always wanted the drum grill. :P  and Now I have one!

Just picked up this barrel drum grill from a guy on my local craigslist for 100 bucks.

Overall looks to be in great condition after the 3+ years he said he had owned it.

Plan on sanding and refinishing the wood counters and handles, clean and sand the drum, so I can prep it for a new coat of high heat paint.

I'll enjoy using it this summer as I collect my supplies for the renovation.  It's in good condition, but there are a few small rust spots on the exterior, and just minor things that could be fixed.

I figured for $100 it was a good deal and I'm glad to have a large charcoal grill for my family gatherings that we have.

love to hear your comments, advice, insults, whatever you're thinking, I won't be offended lol

and a HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all of you dads.

thanks Dan, I plan on using it once and see how it performs, because I'll probably use it a few times before doing the repairs. Because like I said, it's nothing that is hindering it from working properly.

What exactly do you mean by checking the size and height???  Eyeballing, I'd say it's like 2 or 3 inches wide and 6-8 high.

What should I be looking for dimension wise??? First custom grill I've owned, so not sure about stuff like that lol.

Thanks though, I'll definitely post my Q like I do with my smoker meats :)
