New to the site and looking for some advice. Trying to upgrade my current smoker to keep the heat and smoke in. Any help would be greatly appriciate

I'm in San Diego Cali and I have a char grilled 5050 with the smoker box. I've been smoking a 8.5 lb brisket all day. I've noticed I have alot of smoke leakage around the covers and where the smoker attaches to the grill.
