Went to Gander Mtn today to pick up casings for some sausage I will be making soon. I have been thinking of picking up a 3lb sausage stuffer, the kind you push the meat through by hand.
I was checking out some of the grinders, meat mixers ect and saw a 5lb suffer and it was $79 for the push suffer.
Then next to that I saw a 5lb vertical stuffer for $99 and though man I would like that one better, but for $99 I did not want to buy it. My friend who was with me says "hey, that ones on sale for $69.99" he was pointing at the 5lb vertical one.. I was oh man I'm taking that one home with me..
So I have a sausage stuffer now... Time to get some pork butts and make some venison sausage..

Nice score, you will be so much happier with that than that hand stuffer!!

Seems like a good deal to me. I was in there last week and it was $99 as you said. I tend to think G. Mtn. is high and go to Bass Pro.
Goodluck with it.

Wow! That's a nice looking stuffer seaham!
I use my electric stuffer/grinder. It's a pain in the neck for me to use alone.

Not a bad deal. Does that one have nylon gears? It looks like it does, but not sure from the pic. If it has nylon gears just don't run all the way to the bottom. Like Texas-Hunter said in his post. But for the price not to bad.
