Im thinking about adding a heat diffuser in my new drum since it will be a locking lid instead of my usual webber mod. How high should the cooking rack be above the charcoal basket. And how high should the diffuser be above my charcoal basket. My basket is 9" tall by 18" wide and 3" off the bottom. My diffuser is only 16" wide is that ok that its smaller diameter than the charcoal basket? And do i have to drill holes in it? Thanks for the replies.
