I'm not local to NO but travel there often. I've traveled all  50 states and without a doubt [color= rgb(24, 24, 24)]jacque-imo's is my favorite [/color][font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]restaurant of all time. Like the place so well I have a print of his kitchen done by Frenchey hanging in the house. Jacque is a great guy and happy he made it to the big time. His fry cook Captain passed away during the Katrina evacuation. He will be missed. [/font]

yeah! very nice shout out to a great guy and a great place BD! you really cant go wrong walking in to anywhere down here in south louisiana...as you head north i start gettin a  little less proud but anywhere in acadiana is just a great place to live and eat

My next go to place in your area is Drago's. The Barbecued Oysters and a loaf of french are total greatness.
