 Being this was the 1st game 7, out of 5 tries, the Lakers FINALLY won against Boston, it is big for them. To the "Land of Fruits and Nuts" congrats. Maybe this will help the state return to solvency for a while.

It is called a "Team" sport for a reason.  The spainard showed up, Artest was on semi fire, Zoran put in a cameo appearance & oh yeah......did Fisher hit another clutch 3 pointer??  I think so.

And besides, you still have the Angels & Dodgers to watch all summer. That should be a blast for L.A., huh? At least they have fireworks Friday's at the Halo to give you guys a reason to stay to the end and watch a loss.

And don't forget when football season...er sorry, thats right. L.A. doesn't have a football team because they couldn't hold onto one in their "great" city. Maybe it was because "fans" don't show up at the games until halfway through them? Worst fans in sports in L.A. They show up halfway into the game, stare more at the celebs than at the actual game action, and then leave before its over. I have been there and seen it happen. Pathetic!

The Lakers may have beaten the Celts, but you cannot even compare L.A. to Boston. Its not even a contest. We are real fans, not like the fakers in L.A. As much as I hate to admit it, the only better fans in this country are from NY...and that's hard for me to admit!
