Anyone ever use this seasoning before? Wanting to make some goose sticks and trying to find a good flavor.

I've used ghost chili powder before in other things and the heat just overwhelms. I would be concerned that it would just bury the flavor of the goose. I guess it would just depend on how much chili was in the spice mix.

Thanks. That is a good point. I have had some Ghost Pepper sticks from a store near Lake Erie before and they were outstanding. I have been trying to make my own but not sure what flavor to get. I have also had the tex mex and that was pretty good.

Last year i got a pound of ghost pepper jack hi-melt cheese and mixed it with 5 pounds of pork and 5 pounds of venison along with our normal sausage/salami spice mix. It turned out excellent, too spicy for some, but if you like heat it hits the sweet spot between “get me some water” and “melt your face off”.

Getting some of that cheese and mixing with a mild seasoning mix would be my suggestion if you want to try your hand at making something with ghost pepper.

Great idea... Thank you

I can't speak for the snack sticks but the last batch of chili was made using half Texas Chili Mix and half Ghost pepper Chili Mix from Sucklebusters.
It'll definitely light you up!
