Not GOT but a sickly dying over watered Ghost pepper plant that was given to me to save. Potted up with some bark/soil/slow release mix and some fish emulsion its exploded with buds this week with a couple of sets. Looks angry already. Been monitoring moisture levels closely. Its rained so much here whatever's in the ground is having real problems. Pots go under roof eaves when storms come, pia but their healthy. Hoping for a good crop.
Very nice! A tomato cage works well. I've saved 3 containers of coffee grounds over the winter and mixed it into the soil with my two ten gallon or so pots since super hots like sand, potting soil and peat moss. If I use the same soil the next year I'll use coffee grounds to acidify the leached soil and it's nitrogen rich. Watering with a half cup of epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) per gallon of water assists in the uptake of nitrogen to keep leaves dark green. This year has not exceeed 85f outdoors here and stress really stimulates super hots. Weirdest/coolest growing season l've ever recalled. My Carolina Reapers will fruit late this summer.
I didn't plant even one chile plant this year, thankfully I've connections.
But I do have my herbs, maters, eggplants, bell peppers, zukes-n-cukes and blueberries.
