No, but a buddy bought his at Ace and it's worked flawlessly. I bought my 40 at Mills Fleet Farm a few years ago.

Make sure the electric can go up to 325 though.
Can't you put in a regulator with a needle valve for lowered temp control in a propane one?

Yes, you can mod. I just posted in the propane area but I have never seen any posts regarding the range you get with the mods (needle valve and plugging 50% burner holes). I would assume you lose the high temps propane afterwards. I have a needle valve in my amazon cart... In addition to the low temps, better temp control would be nice. Temps in my gasser require a little more effort than I think. Unsure if the needle valve will really fix that.
