This is not your cheap pellet smoker made overseas out of thin metal and that will fall apart on you in a year.

Cost was $3800 and a 9 month wait. Don't call me asking what I would take, its already listed make an offer instead. I bought it new about 1.5 years ago.

This pit will last you a life time, very efficient, holds temp on hours with not burning much pellets. Do cooks overnight without waking up to fill the hopper. Makes some of the BBQ I've had, just as good as the GatorPit stick burner I had.

Only selling because I moved and don't have space for it now.

If you bought directly from Rich @ GatorPit, it will cost you $600 in shipping plus a 9 month wait. I already did that, so you don't have to wait or pay for shipping. Firm on price, this pit is worth it, rather keep it for later than sell it cheap.

The Pellet Pro® True PID Controller

The Pellet Pro® uses a True PID Controller

PID Description Overview

Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control is the most common control algorithm used in industry and has been universally accepted in industrial control. The popularity of PID controllers can be attributed partly to their robust performance in a wide range of operating conditions and partly to their functional simplicity, which allows engineers to operate them in a simple, straightforward manner.

As the name suggests, PID algorithm consists of three basic coefficients; proportional, integral and derivative which are varied to get optimal response. Closed loop systems, the theory of classical PID and the effects of tuning a closed loop control system are discussed in this paper.
