Hi
I was wondering if it is ok to smoke Frozen fish? Where I live there are not many fresh fish markets and I am new to smoking. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Sure you can!!
My Son brought me 200 pounds of Salmon from NY one time.
We froze it all in Fillets, and I kept it frozen for more than 30 days @ Zero degrees to eliminate any parasites.
So yes, Fish that has been frozen is actually encouraged.
Thaw it & do your thing:

Smoked Salmon
Smoked Brook Trout & Tilapia

Bear

Bear

Exactly.
Don't fall into the trap of thinking "fresh" means "never frozen". At least in the US what is called "Fresh" can (and should) be previously frozen. Most all retail fish you will buy comes FAS or Frozen At Sea where it was flash frozen for retaining the highest quality possible. This is a good thing for multiple reasons.
