Nice
This is for home or the weekend getaway?

That is very pricey. Lost my rita recipe for making at home.
Daiquiri fan?
1 can pineapple juice
1 bag frozen strawberry
1 can frozen limeade
Blend to chop the strawberry
1 cup rum and blend to mix (I like 2 cups rum myself)
In the freezer
Sounds FANTASTIC! 2C rum for me too. Bookmarked. Thanks for sharing John.

it is a great recipe I learned over 40 years ago.
I took a course in college and brought a batch in to class in a picnic jug. It was enjoyed by all. I was mostly trying to entice a very attractive class member, but she already had a boyfriend.
Doesn't require a machine outside of a blender, but one can chop the strawberry with a potato masher.

Rum is to taste Sam as in maybe more. I recall using a full fifth. Makes it slushier after a ride in freezer.

And here we go!

Very impressed with it. I should have just used the cocktail setting without adjusting the freeze setting. It came out a bit too thick. But was nice and smooth. No chunks of ice. Just like a slushy should be. We forgot to bring the mixer. But I had a 6 pack of Caymen Jacks margarita.
So, I used four of them. And a couple shots of tequila silver to living it up a touch. Since the bottles were already cold. The whole process took about 30 minutes.

Nice . Got me thinking ( you have that effect ) . How is it to clean up , or maybe just keep it full all the time ? Lol .
It has a clean cycle. Put 5 cups of water in it. Hit the clean cycle. It shuts off automatically. Drain the water out. Remove the parts. 5 pieces total. Super easy. Then I just wash in warm soapy water to be sure. The parts are dishwasher safe.

Have a batch of Kahlua milkshakes going.
STOP IT! :emoji_laughing: I love me some booze and all but also like plain slushes/shakes/malts/etc. First thing I'd make would be 50/50 coke/cherry slush like I used to do as a kid at the 7Eleven.

If you want another idea: Brandy Alexander. HUGELY popular Lake Erie Islands drink.

Lol! I'll be trying a cherry coke slushy soon. I'll put some rum in it. The Kahlua milkshakes were really good. Though, next time. I'll bump up the kahlua I put in it. The Brandy alexander sounds good!

Yeah it hits the spot but it's one and done for me.

Shaved ice, or small cubes
1 cup brandy
1 cup dark creme de cocoa
1 1/2 cups French vanilla ice cream
East Indian nutmeg

The Recipe

Fill a blender about 2/3 full with ice. Pour brandy and creme de cocoa over the top. Add ice cream and blend until smooth. Adjust ingredients if desired. Top each serving generously with nutmeg. Serves 3 - 4.

For the slush replace the ice with water.

Steve you have enabled us on many things .
Even some nice power tools and very sharp knives ,

BUT this is the most Dangerous item to Date if you ask me .... LOVE me some frozen drinks with a little Umbrella, lol

I have an old Coka Cola ( cheap plastic ) slushy maker, so I do see a new addition to the family sometime this summer.

+1 on the ninja, it makes ice cream too.

My advise? Pink lemonade and very dark rum or pineapple juice and very dark rum. I love the Appleton but usually get captain Morgan tattoo because of cost.

Advise 2 -

Clean it right away if you let it dry...... Nightmares

Advise 3 - make some virgin B4 you make the good stuff for the kids and non drinkers so people don't get left out.
