Every Thanksgiving I smoke a 20lb turkey. Being in the Midwest sometimes it's really cold outside and very hard to keep the temp. Can I smoke it in the early fall and freeze the whole turkey until Thanksgiving? Suggestions?
test drive 1 while they are a few still around, I think I would cut it in 1/2 and vacuum , reheat SV style , bet the taste will be good for several months jmo.
