Found a new to me grill

My wife convinced me to go walking around the neighborhood last tuesday and i stumbled upon this Akorn grill sitting outside for trash day. I have been eyeing these grills for a few years but never saw the reason to buy one. So i loaded it up in my SUV and got it home.
(they prybar was to close the damper and not let anymore water in)

after getting it home i have ordered an extra set of gaskets, damper assembly and a cover. I should have it cleaned and ready to use by the weekend

Score! Many moons ago I was a paperboy in suburbia and got "pick of the litter" on trash day.It's amazing what people throw away!

i just didnt see any reason why this grill should have been out on the side of the road. The only thing was the damper was hard to turn.
