I found the Holy Grail of Mustangs.
1966 GT 350 H 4 speed. Second owner, he bought it from Hertz rental cars after renting it for his honeymoon in 1968 after coming home from Vietnam. He paid $3.000 it had 30.000 miles on it. Today it only has 56.000 miles on it, and it's 100% factory original numbers matching org paint with documentation from Ford and Hertz.
He had all the ducuments framed, in the trunk area. He asked if I wanted to buy it, I said yes, he says ok, $300.000 cash and it's yours .
I thought he was insane until I googled it. In that condition they sell for over $400 Grand. Ouch, okay I'm out!!!
He let me sit in it and start it up and rap the engine a few times to feel and hear it. HOLY FOOK, what a car.
There are unicorns out there to be found, if you have the money to pay to play!
I'm doing pretty good, but not that good, one can still dream though.
What a car!!!!
