i just got back from a bbq competition and the food inspector came around and used his infared temperature guage on everyone's bbq. I'm not a big bbq competition guy, but I'm curious if the infared is being used by anyone here?

Oh, won first place pulled pork! Hope to have pics later today.

good job..have to look up the infared temp gauge..not sure how it works..we have a lot of thermal image stuff that gives temps.
