First steak of the year

About two months ago I did steaks at -10F air temp. Lowest I grilled at was -35 air temp. Was tough to flip in heavy gloves.
Can't even Imagine that, Damn! I have been in cold weather plenty of times, hahaha! Coldest for me was -15 but never had to fire up a grill and cook, Hahaha!!

Oh man. I haven’t had one this year either! Solo here next week, good time a bloody steak!

Great idea. Reminds me I have one in the freezer and its getting in to grilling season here. I used to be like some of the others...shovel out the snow to grill in brutal cold. Meat was cold by the time I got it back inside! Need one of those hot transport things...

Winter is soup and casserole season for me...or anything stovetop/oven. I've gotten to where I dont even like to grill above 90°! Hate the heat, and standing over a grill makes it worse...I've gotten soft, I know...

Way late. When I wintered up north 0° was my cutoff for smoking and grilling.
Oh, I smoke in below freezing temps.

Chilly. I used to routinely ice fish in actual temps of -20f and below. Gloves are key.

Agree. Smoking is the exception, you don't have to be continously present like you do when grilling a steak, even for just a few minutes.
