Well, I got my first cook in on my Stumps Baby yesterday. Overall, that cooker is fantastic. The only thing I didn't like is that I was doing a 12 hour cook and toward the end, enough ash piled up that it started blowing into the food chamber. I will have to get a can to do a hot dump every 4 hours.
My home brew PID controller worked great.
I had one small mishap when the thermocouple fell out of position and caused a temp spike.

I made 6 racks of ribs St Louis style and two pork shoulders.

The first shoulder I injected with Kosmos Q pork injection using honeycrisp apple juice. I put a simple SPOG rub on this shoulder.

The second shoulder was seasoned using Jeff's original rub with some added salt and chipotle.

I finished off the ribs with Jeff's original BBQ sauce.

The pork got some Bubba Q south Carolina mustard juice and Jeff's original BBQ sauce.
