Put fire to my new Oklahoma Joe this past Sunday! Must say, did enjoy the layed back process! Seemed to maintain my temps thru out the whole cook and they turned out some kind of good! Feasted on two racks of baby backs!! Will attempt to post a pic or two!!

Congratulations on the new smoker and for firing it up.

Glad to hear that your smoke turned out good.

Keep on making good food.

Thanks, pleased at my attempt to control the temps! Do want to find some split wood as opposed to chunks. Don't think I would need to feed it a such! Looking forward to the next burn[emoji]128077[/emoji]

Still a bunch to learn about my smoker! Notice some folks have made a few modifications along the way.... Not sure if it is needed or will be beneficial in the long run! Weather is getting right here in Va. now! May do a butt this weekend[emoji]128077[/emoji]
