I like to make kind of a pizza fatty .
JD sausage
green peppers, onions, oilves, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce.
Cook until done
Then I take and wrap with croissant dough and bake in the oven.
I made a Gramason idea the day he did the "MD Fatty" before i went up to his place... all said it turned out great!!
I used 2 # country deer sausage and for the stuffin i used almost a pound of backfin crab meat, chopped onions, shredded taco cheese... sprinkled with old bay it was mmmm good!!
the week before that Smokey my pet and gramason made one at my place with asparagus mushrooms onions and cheese!!! all i did was watch the temp on the smoker... it turned out great too!!!
I usually make mine from ground round filled with pepperoni, cheese, dried tometoes, roasted peppers, whatever is in the fridge, sometimes herbs and stuff like that. Today I will experiment with some german sausage that i bought in a chub from my local butcher. Who knows what it'll hold inside but its gonna be good.
Same as Teacup for me as well. When I'm in the states, I'll pick up some Jimmy Dean's to use. No binder needed. My local butcher makes a to-die-for garlic sausage that I have used with great success.
Dice up a little bell pepper, red pepper, yellow pepper, celery, onions, garlic. Also add strips or shredded of colby jack and pepper jack cheese. Let your imagination run wild.
They all look might damn good. I think I will me making one this weekend, maybe on sunday. I would on saturday but I have a gun show to go check out. Guns and smoking a great combo for the weekend.
