I had heard somewhere there is a " choice" cut of brisket that is the best /most expensive cut you can get-costs something like 80 to 100 bucks-- anyone got any idea what the name of the cut is?? It has a specific name they call it

Thanks

I'm with Rbrans on this one. I think that you have the Wagyu Beef in mind I have heard that they could get up that around 100.00 for a brisket. If I could find one I would get one. But I can't find and the wife would probably shoot me anyway.

or if wagyu is not exspesive enough for ya try a true Kobe brisket. If ya can find one.

SRF has a ~14lb American Wagyu brisket for $60 + S&H. Which comes out to about $4.20/lb. Around HERE, Choice briskets sell for $3-n-change per pound.

Seems like a decent deal to me.

However someone nearby (about 20 miles) posted a Prime brisket for $2.49/lb, which is killer (for our area).

If I had the $$$$ to get the Brisket I would be afraid to smoke it. I might do something wrong...

Wow if I had $100.00 I would just buy brisket at wal-mart or sam's or ?? and that way I would not shake as I smoked it... LOL

Good smoking...

No biggie - I just did almost $100 worth of Prime steak this evening. All went well.

If you don't try, you'll never know how/what it tastes like.
