Exhaust stack diameter

Hello, long time lurker newly joined member with a question.

I’m building my second offset, 12’x4’ with a 24” fire box. I’ve used Feldons calculator to figure out a few things, after I started however. I was going to use a 6” smoke stack, I’m thinking now that it’s too small. My question, what will happen using too small a diameter stack?

I see Franklin likes to use 8- 10” stacks.

Thank you, I’ve read it. I’m not building a reverse flow, I’ll plug in some numbers
