Local Grocery sat out another package of what they call Tomahawk Ribs. I couldn't resit. Nothing new here just same old ribs with a little nip & tuck here & there
Yoder set on 225° with MCH pellets
Membrane removed from bone side
Thin layer of EVOO
Generous layer of Hardcore Carnivore Black beef rub
8 hours exactly in the cooker ..... Drumroll please ......

I actually got a shot of the plate this time. Man, we're making progress! Easter was good & the ribs were off the chain.
Y'all have a good week out there & get those smokers fired up!!!!

Nice looking ribs Randy. They're very hard to find around here unfortunately.

Point for sure

Absolutely my favorite meat to smoke and eat, you nailed that cook Randy! I like doing beef ribs over brisket, just don't have the time or crowd. Nice work! RAY

Dang man . You need a double drum roll for that . That plate looks fantastic . Nice job .

Wow! Those look incredible! I’d definitely say you nailed that! Making me regret going with the prime rib for Easter!

Awesome looking ribs. Ya know.....this is one cut I personally have not cooked yet though I've had it served at a friends house before. Added to the list....next time I see them for a good price.

Wow. I would say you nailed those Randy. Been hard to find a day that the wind will let me fish. I went yesterday but had to fight the wind. Hopefully lay down pretty soon. If you would like to fish let me know. If I had GPS coordinates I could pick you up on the lake. I been launching at West Burns. I hate to make extra drive but thinking of checking out Platter Flats ramp.

Those ribs look perfect! And a great plate of vittles right there!

Thanks to everyone for the kind works. I really appreciate it and the beef rib leftovers were just as good on Monday as they were Sunday night.

On another note, I log in this morning and see my original title had been "edited". I'll be honest, I was taken back not only by the fact that a "Moderator" edited a word out of my title but there wasn't an email sent, no message in my in box, nothing...... You've got to be kidding me?????

Please take a moment and see how Wikipedia describes that awful forbidden word....

Food p***

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not to be confused with Food and sexuality.
Food p*** (or foodp***) is a glamourized visual presentation of cooking or eating in advertisements, infomercials, blogs, cooking shows, and other visual media.[1] Its origins come from a restaurant review e-commerce platform called FoodP***.[2] Food p*** often takes the form of food photography with styling that presents food provocatively, in a similar way to glamour photography or p****graphic photography.

I've never had an argument with anyone on this forum, I have always tried to watch my language since I have a potty mouth in real life. NOT ONCE have I ever even brought up or hinted at anything political. It's always 100% about smoking meat and cooking outside, learning & encouraging others to enjoy cooking outside and having fun.

100% BBQ!

I would apologize if my original title offended anyone but to be honest if the use of that word, in the context I used it offended anyone, I've got another message for you that I won't post on this forum. If what I posted offended anyone we're doomed as a society.

Y'all have a good day :emoji_sunglasses:
