Do I really have to go with stainless steel hardware?

I'm having trouble finding what I need in stainless. Any problems with zinc?

Lowes and Home depot have ss. bolts and nuts.

Zinc when it gets hot give off a harmful gas.

They say you can burn the zinc off thou.

I wouldn't use zinc.

Ok I got off my lazy a!* and went research a little. You're right zinc ain't to friendly. I'm going to a specialty bolt store after work today with a list and ill let them do the searching. S and l bolt Scott Louisiana. They always have anything you need and all you have to do is hand over a list.
