Hope everyone enjoyed Derby as much as me and my guests. Best brisket I’ve ever made!

Very nice looking brisket. If you and the guests enjoyed the feast, smile and do it again next time.

A DQ and and (very) long shot winner really sours the juleps of the grand-standers?
I in-fielded for 3 years long ago when I lived close enough for a day trip.
Experiences to remember.

Friend of mine watched her grandmother's horse win the derby back in the 80's. I got invited to join the family in the grand-stand. Still regret turning down that offer, but I was 2,500 miles distant and recently changed jobs so lacking vacation to spend on the odds.

Cheers
