I had finished my 2nd batch of CB, about 13 lbs worth Sunday. My slicer showed up yesterday and I had promised Piney I would do a quick review for him and others.
My overall impression is this is a medium duty home slicer that is built fairly well. It is die cast aluminum construction with stainless steel food platform and guide rod. The blade is a serrated universal cut Stainless that is 8.5 inches in diameter. The motor is 150 watts. I say medium duty because the owners manual says not to cut non stop for more than 10 minutes. The 13 lbs of CB took about 5 minutes to cut stopping often for pictures. Cutting required little pressure. The slicers were even and at the selected thickness from first to last cut. The blade is removed easily for cleaning and the food table tilts away. Pics below.
If anone asks a specific question I will do my best to respond or tell you I just don't know as I have only had this slicer a few days.
