Damn it's CoLd!!!

Weather channel says -4 my truck says -11. Based on the snow instantly freezing on my windshield, and my arthritis acting up in my fingers. I'm believing my trucks temperature gauge. Stay warm east coasters tonight, and the wind chill hasn't even started yet. Predicted to be -34 with the wind chill tonight.

I always hated January for the Sub-Zero it brought. And the layers upon Layers of clothes it took to survive.
Zero was T-shirt weather.

Chris, The fishing was SLOW, we had a foot of ice and about 8 inches of snow to go through so not bad . This storm will mess that up !

Sorry to hear that it was slow. Nothing worse then spending the day on the ice with minimal action.

Single digits here today but not too cold to put a rack of St. Louis ribs on the Traeger! I started them today. Got the first step done then brought them in to wrap 'em and I'll finish them tomorrow morning and take them to a football party tomorrow afternoon! Traeger was humming right along at 275ish and they looked great when I took them off and wrapped 'em.

We had about 2" snow then about 2" rain and high of 47f and in about a hours time a temp drop of 20 and still going down,the glaze of ice on everything looks nice but that's about it.

No smokin today...smokers in a cacoon of ice.Oh well.

Weekend update: I just got done snow blowing the driveway. I'd say we have about 15 to 18" of powder. Temps are about 0 and the wind is just a whipping around. It's cold. Long johns, wool socks, head sock, gloves, parka and regular hat. Stayed warm most of the time. Started feeling it about 45 min. into the blow. Just got done and the road plow goes by. I know that driver had a big shit-eaten grin on his face as he pushed more snow in the driveway.

Time for a PBR.
