I know regular salts will last forever if kept dry.

How long do curing salts last and what is the best way to store them?

I was looking at Sausage Maker's web site and for 2x the price of a 1# bag I can get a 5# bucket..... So was thinking why not.....

Some argue about the overall shelf life because oxygen can degrade it over time, regardless, it'll last a very long time.
I would store what you won't use in a short time by vacuum packing it and keeping it in a cool place.

Thank you both. Hopefully I will be sharing curing adventures soon. Need to work out the fridge for curing....
