Cost of a Propane tank

I'm looking to build a 500 or 1000 gallon offset smoke. What's decent price to spend on a 500 or 1000 gallon propane tank?

I have a 200 gallon 24inch X 10foot with 75 gallons of propane in it for 475.00 . Have seen 500 gallon ones empty for 400.00 and above.
If only I knew how to weld.
