Convert a propane grill to charcoal smoker?

Anybody take an old propane grill and turn it into a charcoal smoker?I'm thinking this could give me a little more room than my kettle.

Hello drsongs.  Without more info; basic answer to basic question is not a problem.  Take out the burner and seal any unnecessary holes and you should be good to go.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
