Hey all, have a chance to see Hairball in April.

Anyone seen them or have any feedback?

Thanks for any info!

Looks like a great time. The music era is right up my alley, although I listen to a wide variety of stuff. The vocals arent spot on but they are doing so many different bands/acts.

Tribute bands are usually specific to a band. Many moons ago the crew I was with was staying in San Diego and there was a local bar nearby featuring a Beetles tribute band. These dude were awesome...I mean perfect. When they took a break, we took them to our hotel room and got them "smoked up", if you catch my drift. It was hilarious, they went from pitch perfect to couldn't remember the songs when they started back up!

Sorry...not sorry! Yes, it screwed it up for the other patrons, the bar and the band but its a memory I'll never forget!

This Hairball looks like a good time if you take it for the spectacle it is supposed to be and dont be too critical about how close their vocals are to the original.

And the crazy thing about that episode is that the Gutter Cats were a real band but nothing really ever happened for them.

I have seen Hairball a few times. They are a great time if you are into that era of music. Very talented musicians. The have a couple of lead singers that dress up like the band and sing that set while the other singer is changing costumes in the back to sing the next set. They have enough bands covered so that it is not the same show over and over.

It's been quite a few years since I have seen them perform, probably 15yrs or so. I thought they were fun to watch and enjoyed their cover songs, disclaimer I was also in my mid 20's, nice ND summer night at an outdoor venue with a bunch of friends and GF / Fiancé (depending on year) and the drinks they were a flowin' so take it for what that's worth.
They play up in this area pretty frequently and most people I know that have seen them enjoy them and lot's of people have seen them repeatedly
