Had a few comments deleted. Don’t think I said anything offense. Just wondered if you get some kind of alert if you did?

I had a post edited once because it was leaning a little too close to politics. A mod was kind enough to let me know he or she did it and why but left the rest of my post up. That's much better service than you'll get at most web sites. I had a food website actually suspend me for a post once (again, leaned too close to politics) and didn't warn me, tell me, nothing...just suddenly couldn't come in and play. I get the sensitivity because especially these days, arguments can spark quickly, but its really great to get a warning or in the case here, notification (which served as a warning in my mind). I really appreciated that. Sometimes we can get too comfortable and forget people have different beliefs, web sites have to brace against politics and religion...especially sites that arent there for politics and religion!

That said, this site is great for allowing a huge variety of discussion. "All smoke and no play makes Jack a dull boy!":emoji_wink:

lol! Yea I don’t say anything out of the way I’m just a little immature for a 60 year old. Maybe I need to be a little more serious 😎

The heck with that. Too many old men are too serious. There's a time to be serious, blowing smoke around the smoker aint that time! I turned 60 this year and suddenly everything is falling apart. Been in pain or some sort of distress since. I cut my comedy chops on George Carlin, Richard Pryor and later on Eddie Murphy (the standup, not as much the movies). I miss the great ones.

Problem is, at our age, few seem to get the jokes! I have to remind myself all the time that in mixed company, people just think I'm weird or stupid! Senior citizens seldom get the joke...

Comments mysteriously disappearing is the first step of getting banished from SMF. You may want to buy some depends to avoid any embarrassing moments when you reach step three.

I'm 60 and refuse to grow up. I may grow old, but I can't be forced to grow up.

One of my favorite replies to people who ask me where I grew up......I say; I haven't grown up, but I can tell you where I was raised. :emoji_relaxed:

I feel lucky to feel as good as I do at 68. I have my aches and pains, but I'm still pretty mobile and feel blessed. There are a lot of people much younger than me with a lot more health issues. I just wish I knew in my 20's what I was doing to my future 60 something body.
