I have a couple of different boxes of Chunks. I would like to store the chunks in plastic bins.

Should I store the chunks in the bins with the lid on tight or should I leave the tops off so they can breath?

I did have some apple given to me that was in plastic garbage bags and it was wet and moldy when I went to use it.

Any thoughts?

It depends on where you're storing them,
If it's in a dry stop, say, the garage, they don't need to be covered, but if it's some place where there's any chance of exposure to moisture, they should be sealed (assuming they're already perfectly seasoned.)

Thanks for the info. I will be keeping them in an outdoor shed. Sometimes there are temp swings from hot afternoons to cool evenings. About 1/2 mile from the shore so there is humidity.
