Haven't posted anything in a while as I've been lazy. Had two packs of legs in the fridge that I was going to cure / brine but I changed my mind yesterday.

Peeled back the skin and shot these up with some Tony C's garlic butter.

Used these rubs... half got Fitty the other half Medic under the skin, then all over the outside with the Killer Hogs. Thanks thirdeye thirdeye for the turkey pins to hold the skin.

All rubbed up and ready to go.

Here they are coming off the weber after spending some quality time with a chunk of cherry. Thermapen said hi 180's all around. I love that dark color on the skin.

No plate shots, as I was far into the beer fridge by this time. Thanks for looking. I'm doing a boneless leg of lamb later..maybe I'll get some pics of that.

Outstanding color and I'll bet they were good nice job

Thanks for all the kind words. The ol' burner to light the charcoal chimney was an epiphany for me also many years ago. I saw someone do it at a party for work and I couldn't believe that idea had never crossed my mind. And yes David, the beer fridge is a great place to hang out :emoji_sunglasses:
